Loves Rubberstamps- Design Day and Flourishes New Release Challenge - Let’s Hop!!

I decided to combine my Design Day for Loves Rubberstamps and to play in the Flourishes New Release Challenge Flourishes welcomes you  to the kick off of our December release! Today the entire Flourishes Design Team is ushering in a challenge and YOU could walk away winning all of our new sets for December! Here’s how to get in on the fun. All you need to do is play in the…..We’re going to HOP on over to each designer’s blog. At each stop, you’ll find another clue for our progressive challenge! Stacy Morgan will start the hop and by the end you’ll have 8 “ingredients” that you’ll need to use for your cards or creations in order to be in the running!
...and here are the 8 requirements for our creations:
1. Anything but an A2 card
2. Use a floral
3. Add ribbon or lace
4. Inspiration photo (on right)
5. Add a tag
6. Add rounded corner or die w/curvy edges
7. Add antique flair w/distressing or sponging
8. Use die cut or punch

So here is my creation;
1) 6" Square card using Spellbinders  Grand Label One and blue metallic paper
2) I used Poinsettia & Pine by Flourishes
3) Used Baja Breeze & Rose Red Seam binding for ribbon
4) Used the colors in the photo
5) Added a tag using Spellbinders Grommet Tag and sentiment from the same set
6) I rounded edges using Label One
7) I sponged French Blue Fluid Chalk and Orchid Pastel
8) Used the Lotus Pendant and Lace Doily Accents all by Spellbinders

You can a find Spellbinders, Flourishes 'Poinsettia & Pine and Tim Holtz that I used at Laura's store; http://lovesrubberstamps.net

  1. Beautiful card, Jacqueline. You have some really gorgeous art here on your blog and I enjoyed "browsing". If you get the chance, I would really love to have you come and play along with us at Word Art Wednesday - we're always an Anything Goes theme, and your sweet cards would be a lovely addition to our challenges. I hope you will check us out.
    Beautiful work!
    Blessings,
    Karen
